Let's Talk About Chicks, Man

It's Valentine's Day! The best day to say to that special lady as she is handing you a small token of her appreciation, "Oh, you were serious when you said you want us to be exclusive"(Count it). I kid of course. On this greatest of days during Black History Month (that's a crack at February, not black people), I want to do something special for all the ladies in the sports world, by honoring the hardest working ones, The Houston Texans Cheerleaders (Banking a shot isn't hard, so suck it WNBA).
Southern Belles after the jump...

Beautiful, graceful, and still smiling even when Jacoby Jones runs East-West, these women are the one aspect of the franchise that has never failed to receive a standing ovation. Their pre-game preparation is impeccable. Their two minute drill is superb. When McNair was quoted as saying "we're on the right track" we really know to whom he was referring to. These women exhibit the traits of a model franchise, focus, organization, and clASS.

Let's take a moment to meet a few of these hip-shaking heroines.

Erica is not only a gridiron gal, but a full-time student and a full time mom as well! Hailing from West Palm Beach, her favorite player is Andre Johnson, and her best feature is her smile. Her hidden talent is that she can turn her tongue upside down, which probably is amazing.

Larisa and Marisa, did someone say and twins! Born twenty seconds apart and hailing from Baytown, TX, when not cheering on the best football team in Texas these two are middle school math teachers. A perfect Sunday for them? Wonderful weather and a Texans victory!

Nicole hails from the ATL, also the home of my alma mater, but I will not hold that against her. Her favorite player is Super Mario, and she enjoys travelling and wine tasting. Her guilty pleasure is pizookies from BJ's (giggle) which are "ooohh so good" (the pizookies).
I would like to give a cyber rose to each one of these lovely ladies and the rest of the Houston Texans' Cheerleader Squad. Let's see the owners try to lock you out in 2011!
Stop by next month for a special March 14th, Steak and BJ Day, follow up profiling the Texans' Cheerleaders' less sophisticated, more likely to bang you in your backseat, counterparts the Houston Rockets' Power Dancers (it's cool Morey doesn't choose them).
Until the next one.
Best Regards,
The Ridiculous
